Life in a Day is Picture Locked: A message from Kevin Macdonald
In this message from Kevin Macdonald, he announces that the final cut of Life in a Day has been locked. On behalf of Kevin and the entire Life in a Day team, thank you to everyone who contributed to this historic effort. "Life in a Day" is a unique documentary filmed by YouTube users that tells the story of a single day on earth -- July 24, 2010. For the past five months, director Kevin Macdonald, editor Joe Walker, and a team of researchers have been editing footage received from over 80000 of you into a feature film. Almost 5000 hours of video from 192 countries were submitted and, today, a 94-minute film remains. "Life in a Day" premieres globally on YouTube and at the Sundance Film Festival at 8:15PM EST on Thursday, January 27th.
